I have been corresponding with a young feminist theorist in Iran for some time. She has recently reached out to me again asking for support from feminists in the larger world in response to the recent killing of a woman for not properly wearing a hijab.  To try to stop the unrest, government has shut down the Internet. As a small step in support, please sign this petition I just created:
