It's time for some elections -- two, to be exact, for positions on the
Steering Committee.  I've attached the Call for Nominations below.  Please
note a couple of things: all nominating materials should be sent to me, as
chair of the Nominating Committee ([log in to unmask]).  I will then forward
them to the rest of the committee; we will together review the material and
then put a slate of nominees together.  The deadline for nominations is
OCTOBER 6.

Nominations should include a brief biographical statement and, if possible,
a CV.  Self-nominations are welcome.
            
Nonmembers can be nominated and elected, though they will need to become
members if elected.
