thank you Alison!Sally also instantly sent it to me.so I'm sorted.
Except I will miss y'all in Tampa. (sniff)
Can someone take up the request to video things for FEASTers at a distance?Maybe that is exorbitant. It probably is.

Dear Prof. Haslanger,Thank you very much for this post; I'm very keen to read Bar On's arguments and have also looked into the posted blogs also of great interest. But at the URL  I tried twice to download the paper and failed. I usually can get pdfs without trouble. Is it possible to ask you for Bar On's email address or another means of getting the pdf?I'm sorry this may turn into a nuisance when you were providing a great service to Bar On and the community interested in such questions as her paper addresses.I am sorry not to be able to come to Tampa.  At the appropriate time the local currency dipped 100% and the airfare became wholly unrealistic from West Africa, especially during term teaching time. But it's a huge loss -- it will be a gathering to remember forever, especially in Prof. Card's absence but well before that tragedy much anticipation for the solidarity and FEAST community.

If you wouldn't mind forwarding this to Dr. Bar On then if she is interested I could hear from her, rather than asking you to disclose her address to a stranger. In either case I regret making you a go between.I'll try to find her online if that is possible. Also I'm ccing the listserv which takes the burden off you, possibly she will read it.

Please note that Ami Bar On has postedan essay on the Symposia on Gender Race and Philosophy and invites discussion.  Abstract below:
In this essay I ask what is the responsibility of philosophy graduate programs, philosophy faculty, and professional organizations of academic philosophers toward individuals who are interested in pursuing a philosophy Ph.D.. I am especially concerned about responsibilities toward members of groups that are underrepresented in philosophy as an academic discipline who are being actively recruited into the pool of applicants to Ph. D. programs. I ask my questions against a background of bad news about the state of philosophy as an academic profession and the academic humanities more generally, and a reasonable anticipation that there is no light at the end of the tunnel, and so the job prospects of philosophy Ph.D. aspirants are not good. Because of endemic academic inequalities, philosophy Ph.D. aspirants who are members of groups that are currently underrepresented in philosophy are likely to be even worse off than others.
