In case you didn't get this announcement (below)....Note that you can also
upload your syllabi - *please do!*

The resource seems to be behind the APA members-only wall. Maybe a reason
to become a member? Membership at this point is supporting a lot of
important changes in the APA.

Please spread the word. Apologies for cross-posting.

Dear Sally,

In December, the APA Committee on Inclusiveness in the Profession put out a
call for teaching materials bearing on any area of philosophy among those
that have traditionally been underrepresented in the curriculum. In
response, over 75 syllabi have been submitted to date, including courses
specifically focused on diversity as well as courses with modules on
diversity. Syllabi cover areas such as the following:

   - African/Africana and African-American Philosophy
   - Asian and Asian-American Philosophy
   - Feminist Philosophy
   - Indigenous Philosophy
   - Islamic Philosophy
   - Latin American Philosophy
   - LGBTQ Philosophy
   - Multicultural/World Philosophies
   - Philosophy and Disability
   - Philosophy of Gender
   - Philosophy of Race

The syllabi are now available on the APA
website<[log in to unmask]&job=1319927&ymlink=2255791&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eapaonline%2Eorg%2Fmembers%2Fgroup%5Fcontent%5Fview%2Easp%3Fgroup%3D110430%26id%3D380970" target="_blank">http:[log in to unmask]&job=1319927&ymlink=2255791&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eapaonline%2Eorg%2Fmembers%2Fgroup%5Fcontent%5Fview%2Easp%3Fgroup%3D110430%26id%3D380970>and
may be used as resources for those teaching philosophy to create more
diverse and inclusive courses. This is an ongoing project, and additional
syllabi will be added as they are received.

To contribute a syllabus for inclusion on the APA website, please complete
the syllabus submission
form.<[log in to unmask]&job=1319927&ymlink=2255791&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eapaonline%2Eorg%2F%3Fsyllabusform" target="_blank">http:[log in to unmask]&job=1319927&ymlink=2255791&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eapaonline%2Eorg%2F%3Fsyllabusform>

By submitting syllabi, you will be helping to promote diversity in the
profession. Thank you for participating in this important project!

All the best,
