Hi all,
I just got back my students' first exam. On the exam, I asked if they
agreed with Plato's position on common property. EVERY SINGLE response has
argued against common property on the grounds that no one would have
incentive to work and all the other familiar responses about desert and
human nature. I want to include an article next time I teach this course
that address this particular response to common property/socialism. If you
have a favorite article that discusses this issue, could you please email me
off list?
Thanks so much!
Shay
