BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY, WALTHAM, MA. The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a one year position as lecturer, beginning Fall 2011. AOS: Metaphysics or Epistemology or Philosophy of Language or Metaethics. AOC: Logic. The successful candidate is expected to teach one course in intermediate or advanced logic. Teaching load is 3-2 and includes MA thesis supervision No administrative duties. Requirements for the PhD must be completed by September 2011. Applicants should submit a cv, a writing sample, at least three letters of recommendation and evidence of teaching ability to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
