Apologies for cross-posting

I just wanted people to know that the Indiana Philosophical Association has
reorganized its conference format in order to be more inclusive as a result
of conversations at their last meeting. As a result there are dedicated
panels on continental, war and peace, feminist and ancient philosophy. I
strongly encourage interested parties to apply. Please email me or Kevin
Harrelson at [log in to unmask] if you have any questions.

Quoting from the email sent from Jared Bates, at Hanover College. Jared is
the web admin for the IPA.

"The IPA Spring 2014 Meeting will take place at Butler University in
Indianapolis on 21-22 March. Papers in any area of philosophy are welcome.
Submitted papers should be (i) no more than 3000 words, (ii) prepared for
blind review, and (iii) accompanied by a separate page that includes title,
author information (name, affiliation, and contact information), and an
abstract not exceeding 150 words. Materials should be submitted to Prof.
Kevin Harrelson at [log in to unmask] Suggestions for commentators and
sessions chairs (including self-nominations) are also welcome. Please note
that the submission deadline is 7 January. We are pleased to announce that
our keynote address will be given by Colin Allen of Indiana University. Our
thanks to the Butler Philosophy Department for generously hosting us and
for sponsoring the keynote address.

We are striving to make the IPA a more inclusive organization. We
therefore aim to include on the next program four special sessions on the
following topics: Continental Philosophy, War and Peace, Feminist
Philosophy and Ancient Philosophy. We strongly encourage you to submit your
work for these sessions. Please see instructions on the CfP for how to do
so.

We will again present an award, accompanied by a $100 cash prize, for the
best paper submitted by a graduate student.

Meeting information (registration, lodging, etc.) will be posted here as
it becomes available: http://ipa-online.info/"

Kind regards,

Adriel Trott
