Call for Abstracts
THE KRISTEVA CIRCLE
October 13-15, 2016, Södertörn University, Stockholm
Keynote Speakers:
Miglena Nikolchina, University of Sofia Eivind Engebretsen, University of
Oslo
Please submit abstracts (500-750 words) on any topic related to the work of
Julia Kristeva, to [log in to unmask] We welcome submissions from
across all disciplines. Themes could vary from the study of Kristeva's
relevance in the arts, philosophy, theology, disability studies, etc., to
the study of central themes in Kristeva's work: abjection, melancholy,
transference, etc. Abstracts should be suitable for blind review; include a
separate document with name, paper title, affiliation, and contact
information. The deadline for abstracts is March 15, 2016.
The Kristeva Circle supports research on or influenced by philosopher,
psychoanalyst and novelist Julia Kristeva. Our mission is to establish and
advance Kristeva scholarship nationally and internationally. The meeting in
2016 is organized by Carin Franzén ([log in to unmask]), Cecilia
Sjöholm ([log in to unmask]) and Claudia Lindén ([log in to unmask]).
