Dear FEAST Members,

For those of you interested in Care Ethics, an unprecedented collection of care theorists will be gathering at the Western Political Science Association Meeting in Seattle, April 17 to 19, 2014 to present their latest work. Further information about the conference can be found at http://wpsa.research.pdx.edu/meet/

WPSA has traditionally been a place for robust discussion of care ethics but the upcoming meeting will be particularly stimulating as there will be a care “conference-within-a-conference” on Friday, April 18 with a day-long series of care panels, as well as individual care panels throughout the rest of the conference. Scholars scheduled to present include: Maxine Eichner, Daniel Engster, Marilyn Friedman, Ruth Groenhout, Maurice Hamington, Douglas Hanes, Eva Kittay, Anna Kronsell, Traci Levy, Tom Malleson, Jennifer Nedelsky, Maureen Sander-Staudt, Michael Slote, Helena Stensota, Joan Tronto, and Julie White. For more information contact Dan Engster at [log in to unmask]
