Dear Shay and fellow FEAST members,

It is peculiar that Binghamton graduate students seem more active in FEAST than others. However, I think this is a reflection of our department's support for feminist philosophy and the associated organizations. I came to Binghamton with an MA and was not active with FEAST or SWIP until then.

I do know that Jess has several ideas for graduate involvement. I would think the hours she put into the FEAST conference this year gave her an idea of the commitment she is making. Lastly, I recently took on the position of graduate student representative of ESWIP. This is a new position. We have talked about several activities we might plan together, many of which have been inspired by the activities Shay organized at the conference. I share Shay's concerns and I am looking forward to addressing them with EWSIP's help. I also think Jess and I working together will be a great asset to graduate students interested in feminist philosophy.

What else can I say? Vote for Jess!
