Sociocosmology, as I understand it, is something of which I have thought for decades. Paul Davies' book Superforce suggests that a unified field theory "includes us."   Thus, a unified field theory is more than physics, mathematics, and "science." It is also art.  I note this in my Unified Philosophy, 3rd edition.   Anyone reading Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolution will see that knowledge, including science, is a social activity. Thus science is a socioscience. Even sociology is the sociology of the social world.  No knowledge, no science, occurs in a vacuum.  Politics meant that the SSC or Supercolliding Superconductor of decades ago, would be built in Texas, not an expansion of the existing labs in Illinois.  Thus, physics was a sociophysics, politicophysics.

Via a ToK Systems view, we can then move to psychocosmology and sociocosmology, analyzing the Mind and Culture planes as nested with Life and Matter and Energy😊.

[2204.09379v1] Biocosmology: Biology from a cosmological perspective

The Universe contains everything that exists, including life. And all that exists, including life, obeys universal physical laws. Do those laws then give adequate foundations for a complete explanation of biological phenomena? We discuss whether and how cosmology and physics must be modified to be able to address certain questions which arise at their intersection with biology. We show that a ...
