Thanks for the blog. A central concept that may well need to be considered in underlying, unifying science, is probably beyond my expertise since my background is philosophy and humanities instead of empirical.  However, my book, Unified Philosophy, 3rd edition,  is oriented around mereological framework expanding ergonomics, cybernetics, game theory, metaphysics, phenomenology, sets, functions, and virtue ethics.  I find that a mereology metaphysics seems to provide "ontological" basis, homology, or isomorphs, in terms of whole and part, underlying technology, art, and science.
