Fantastic work. Thanks for the outline/Contents, and Summary. You are doing in psychology something long overdue and ignored. Your work does in psychology, what my Unified Philosophy: Interdisciplinary Metaphysics, Ethics, and Liberal Arts, 3rd edition, Cognella, does in philosophy. With the Freudian, Skinnerian, Rogerian, and Cognitive approaches to psychology, Gregg's outstanding work is bringing together the disparate threads and rival theories in psychology. A unified theory of psychology is much needed, and Gregg's book offers the comprehensive, scientific, coherent framework contributes to that holistic goal.
Your Tree of Life updates the philosopher Edmund Husserl on the notion of the Lifeworld. Your emphasis on the matter-life-mind-culture, is an excellent synthesis of the material-nonmaterial dimensions of existence, presented by Maslow. This book is a must-read by psychologists and nonpsychologists, by everyone in liberal arts as well as those preparing for a career in psychology. Economist/sociologist Kenneth Boulding would have loved your synthesis of the conceptual and the dynamic.

As I have mentioned at various points throughout the last two years, I have been working on a book, The Problem of Psychology and a New Vision for Its Solution. Well, I have decided to submit the proposal to an academic publisher, Palgrave McMillian. They have a series on theory and history in psychology that the editor of that series said would welcome it. I have made good progress on it the book and am hopeful that I can complete it by the end of the calendar year.
Attached is the book proposal summary of the chapters. I plan on submitting it next Monday, so if anyone has the time and inclination to take a look and offer feedback, I would certainly welcome that. The other reason I am sharing it is that folks might want to see the outline of the argument I am developing.
