Hi TOK List,

  Here are some good "sense making" resources on the Coronavirus.

  First, for a quick summary of best and worst case scenarios, see this NY Times piece by Nicholas Kristof:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/20/opinion/coronavirus-outcomes.html

  Second, for a world history view in context with an emphasis on the lack of global leadership in the current crisis, see Harari's piece here:
https://time.com/5803225/yuval-noah-harari-coronavirus-humanity-leadership/

  Third, Tomas Pueyo has produced some interesting pieces showing the danger of the exponential growth that we may be looking at.
Here are two medium pieces:

Here is an interview with him:

  Fourth, here are two other "sense making" videos from Rebel Wisdom:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3--5kcQIkyQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKDWmKL7xCk

  Fifth, here is a good video with Jordan Hall on systemic vulnerability
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D48Yv_5dHOU&feature=youtu.be<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.youtube.com_watch-3Fv-3DD48Yv-5F5dHOU-26feature-3Dyoutu.be&d=DwMFaQ&c=eLbWYnpnzycBCgmb7vCI4uqNEB9RSjOdn_5nBEmmeq0&r=wjF8cZoiFchamTuxBdDEmw&m=OP1_0iMqjcsZDzyy0_o4hvx4vXZW9LxrtvvhRwd6rZA&s=mT7GJlS_goXTOgqkIIToSbE9Li3jBXi220VBROG4Wrw&e=>
and here is a second one with Hall and Vervaeke...

Please feel free to share feedback, thoughts or other resources that folks might find helpful.

Best,
Gregg
