Hi TOK List,
I just put up a blog I co-authored with Lene Rachel Andersen and Joe Michalski:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/theory-knowledge/201910/5-phases-in-the-evolution-human-cultural-sensibilities

I see the framing of Metamodernism to be very helpful, especially for North American politics and big picture academic thinking. You can think of it as modernism being the thesis, postmodernism being the antithesis, us currently being in a state of confusion, and the metamodern sensibility being the effective synthetic sensibility that offers a successful path forward.

Best,
Gregg
