It does make sense, Gregg.
From my perspective as an academic studying philosophy and psychology as a substantially different field than that in which I was trained, your comment about  “easy to see” is depends on who is looking really is meaningful.  I believe there are many others who are seeking answers to existential questions but who can’t or won’t handle well what we academics utilize.  Yet, they still want to “know” and are seeking.  We need to keep them in mind - there’s a whole lot more of them than there are of us academy devotees.
