Out of all the good questions you have asked yourself in this email- ask
the team? How will the new kid fit into the team? - the last consideration
you should try to imagine is if not attending this
season's competition would discourage them from attending next season.
The parents must know OCTOBER is late in the season, and they missed the
cut off that the other members came in on.
If your team is happy and productive, I don't see a compelling reason
to add new members at this point. If you were lacking in any area-
research/ drama people or engineers- then you might have a reason to let in
new and fresh talent, but having a balanced team seems like a great way to
go into your first competition.
