Hi everyone

While so much remains unseen, FIRST and Virginia + DC FIRST LEGO League have been looking at a variety of scenarios regarding how the deliver the 2020-21 RePlay season. There are many factors to consider as we all wait for more guidance from state and local officials. Although we are not able to share specific details at this time, we did want to offer the following opportunity to coaches from Share & Learn, an online community supporting youth robotics.

On June 30th at 6pm, Share & Learn admin are hosting a zoom call brainstorming session with coaches on remote team meeting and how handle running a team this fall. The anxiousness and worry level has increased in the community and so we felt it was time for dialog – to understand the concerns and share ideas. If this is something that interests you, you are welcome to join too: https://forms.gle/61pBeEwUQARFtSXd8<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__forms.gle_61pBeEwUQARFtSXd8&d=DwMFaQ&c=eLbWYnpnzycBCgmb7vCI4uqNEB9RSjOdn_5nBEmmeq0&r=I07jayWX0XebokY8Z2cZqw&m=_hZu2OTYcddQNnsHhGvyITg6mLP77AtDdeoB9eAchbE&s=cDgukMd87XjmXtQj526PY2JF9rcmQWuwyASTLDyWyHs&e=>

I apologize for the late notice, but they do plan on recording the session and I will work to get that sent out on the Listserv when it becomes available. If you are interested but not able to join tonight, you will be able to access it later on. It is also important to note that the goal is not to give coaches insight as to game details or season play, but rather it is a place for coaches to come together and brainstorm how to handle the running of a team during these unusual circumstances.

Best regards,

Kaitlin Ilnitzki
