Thanks everyone!  We may consider this, even though it could take more time.  It just seems that if it is brought back to base, the robot/attachments could manipulate it from a better position and move it right to target - without all the angle moves.  

The rules state that it must have contact with the mat, and inside the target area.  It is still hard to determine if the target area is the ‘black’ area OR if it is the “black area” and putting the addition directly into the flow where the opening is.  Any final thoughts on that?
