No, this is an interruption and they would have to re-launch. Also see update RG07. Steve ScherrVirginia-DC FLL Referee Advisor---- On Mon, 28 Oct 2019 10:47:20 -0400 Rajeev Mehra<[log in to unmask]> wrote ----

I have a question:

Is is ok for the technicians to touch and guide the robot "after" they have launched it (pressed the button) but "before" it has left the semi circular launch area?

My teams kids are saying that they do it all the time and there is no penalty if they touch when the robot is inside the launch area.

They say they need to nudge the robot slightly to make sure it goes in a straight line "after" they have started the robot (hit the button).

Sincerely,
