OK So our kids chose school security / school shootings as their project.
We thought they could present their project to their school's resource officer (police guy) and use him as the "expert"...but it has been impossible for us to get that to happen. Lots of red tape and push back from school authorities 🙁

What would you recommend we could use as a security expert for this type of project?

I was thinking I could call the local police station's non emergency number and ask if someone there would have time to talk to the kids...but after the school pushing back, I am afraid we will encounter the same issue there also.

Sincerely,
