With any Lithium-Ion battery the life-span depends on the charging cycle, storage, etc. You will have approximately 300-600 charge cycles per pack before you start to notice a significant difference in capacity. If you store your batteries for an extended period of time then you want to make sure that you charge the battery fully before storing, if it drops below 50% charge for an extended period of time it will kill your battery performance. Lithium-Ion batteries don't have a charging "memory" like other types so you can completely drain the battery before charging and it won't negatively affect capacity. Hope this helps.
