get 15 points for the white unit on the board):

Yes, there are mission models that start the match in scoring position.

Yes, for Mission 12, Design & Build, there are only three circles that can
earn LOCATION criterion points (white, tan, red).

Officially, Rule 35 says that points don't exist until the end of the
Match, but I'm almost the only person who emphasizes that.  It's common for
teams to think transactionally, "what is the change in our expected score
if action X happens?"
