*2020 EV3 Hackathon*

*The 2020 Robotics for Youth EV3 Hackathon is a newly designed EV3
competition in which the challenge is not released to teams until the
day of the competition. Teams are allowed to bring pre-built robots and
programs to the competition,and will have time to build and program for the
challenge.*

*Competition Rules*

*Team Member Count*

A team may have a minimum of one team member and a maximum of four team
members.A team may choose to have up to one coach older than all team
members.

*Part *

*Restrictions*

All pieces motors,and sensors for the robot must be LEGO elements.The use
of third party attachments on the robot is prohibited.



*Attachment Restriction*

It is not permitted to use screws, glue or tape to connect any of the parts
of the robot.

*Beforehand Programs*

A program before the Hackathon day may be constructed.This includes
MyBlocks and any other starting programs

*Equipment *

*Exceptions*

Allowed materials include the EV3 robot, LEGO elements,a device on which to
program their EV3 robot,and spare parts. Teamsare expected to bring their
own equipment on the competition day.

*Sharing *

*Policy*

Teams are not allowed to share a laptop and/or their program for a robot
for the duration of the competition.
