There are little rubber bands in the LEGO kit. They are in a cardboard envelope.

You can use these.

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Use of rubber bands

Hi Everyone,
Our team would like to use the small bands that are lego parts to tie up the wires for the robot. Are those allowed? I apologize if this has been answered before, I think I remember the answer to be yes if the bands are lego parts. Thanks
