Hi,
Our team (Excalibots) used Python for the City Shapers season. There was a
learning curve at the beginning of the season but there were a lot of
efficiencies gained towards the later part, making and managing changes was
much more simpler. Code management (via GitHUB), logging to see outputs on
screen, etc. made it easier. Somethings were not that simple compared to
EV3 such as parallel tasks (multi-threading) etc. There is an EV3Dev2
version in beta that has more features such as tank move that aren't in the
previous version but I would not recommend this for rookie teams.
