When our non-profit STEM association issues grants for kits, we ask the coach to sign a document saying they agree to compete for the next two years, or else return the kit. After 2 years, it can stay with the school, or for neighborhood teams we offer to help place the kit with another team.

I am a volunteer parent coach at a private school. We are an after school club and the parents pay the same club fee as other after school clubs. That fee is then used to pay the kit/registration/tee shirts and other materials.

For FLL teacher-coaches...at your school, is your FLL activity a club or an officially school sanctioned activity? Are students asked to help pay for the costs.
