I don't know what the official ruling is on that - but I would recommend
giving the project a shot! Last year was our first year and we very much
underestimated the importance of the project. This year we're really diving
in and having a great time with it all - research, talking with
professionals in the field, coming up with a good presentation, etc. We're
in Richmond if you're looking for a team to chat with. This is only our
second year, so there's not a whole lot of experience here, but we're
willing to share what we have :) But the one mistake we (well, I as the
coach) made in our rookie year was not asking for more guidance/help from
veteran teams.
