Join us for the JR. FLL EXPO at the Greater DC FRC Regional Tournament.



DATE:           Saturday, March 28, 2015

TIME:            2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Registration/Check-in starts at 1:00 pm

PLACE:         George Mason University’s Patriot Center

•  Share your Show-Me poster and LEGO model.

•  Meet with Jr. FLL Reviewers who will provide you with positive feedback.

•  Participate in hands-on activities at the FIRST Expo and check out other FIRST Programs such as FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC).

•  Watch the high school FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams and their robot converge on the arena to face off in “the varsity sport for the mind.”

•  Join the Jr. FLL Parade of Teams and High Five Awards Ceremony to celebrate your accomplishments during this year’s Think Tank season.

This sign-up site will close on 2/13/2015.  Invitation to this Jr. FLL Expo is limited.  Selection is based on a “first come/first serve” basis within the state/city region.



COST:   $27.50 per Jr. FLL team DUE ON 2/20/15

Selected teams will be notified via email during the week of February 16 or sooner.   Detailed information about registration payment and event schedule will be provided to participating teams.



This Jr. FLL Expo is open to the public and is free of charge to spectators.



This local event is planned, managed, and overseen by a committed team of volunteers at the Washington DC Regional.   All teams will receive written feedback from the Jr. FLL Reviewers at the conclusion of the event. The Jr. FLL Expo is NOT a competition.  Every team will receive a trophy and medals.  Every child will be celebrated.
