No, what you describe is not allowable.  But...

1)  The robot is allowed to bring the pets and people to Base
2)  The team is allowed to load the pets and people into a custom LEGO
basket
3)  The robot is allowed to move a basket with other objects in it to the
red zone

However, the team is never allowed to remove any objects from their loop
carriers.
Rule 14--Mission Models
 -- You may not take mission models apart, even temporarily.

Rule 34--Model Damage
 -- Any scoring success which obviously depended on model damage is marked
scoreless.
