I'm attaching the current version of activities we have setup for Saturday.

If this is your first time coming to the championship tournament, these are things participants can do with JMU professors and local experts on Saturday - during the half-day when your team is not being judged.

Division 1 teams get judged in the morning so they'll be available to do activities in the afternoon.

Division 2 teams get judged in the afternoon so they'll be available to do activities in the morning.

Registration for activities will open - hopefully on Monday.  Most activities can accommodate 20 students and that's based on the physical limitations of the room, supplies required and the instructor's desires.  Parents and siblings can trail along but aren't allowed in the rooms or to participate.

For new folks this sounds imposing, but imagine a classroom with space for 20 students.  Fill it with 20 eager/excited middle school FLL competitors - add 2 parents for each student and a couple of young siblings and you have chaos.  Buses will be provided for all activities located outside of Memorial Hall, so again limiting the number of additional people traveling to the workshop will allow us to get the participants there more efficiently.
