There are no rules about where the robot can go, as long as the robot is autonomous it can go anywhere on the board. There are no requirements about the robot being in a specific place to accomplish a mission.

The rules around when and how a robot can be launched and relaunched are found on page 19.

What happens to the robot when the team touches the robot outside home or partially outside home can be found on page 20.

Hope that answers your question.

Hello,
A question from s rookie coach for a rookie team, hoping for some clarification:

Can the robot start in the left launch area, drive into the left home area and go towards the mission 1 area and push the orange levers ?
In general - can the 2 home areas be used during the missions.

thanks
Surya
