Hi Krista,

As the previous poster's forwarded bibliographies indicate, there is a
vast scholarly literature on mothering (not to mention an enormous
number of popular culture sources ranging from self-help books to TV
sitcoms, films, novels, memoirs, art, magazines, blogs, etc.).  I
could also send you the bibliography I am compiling for a book I am
writing (on mothering in adoptive, blended and queer families).  But
this would be a quite different list than one focused on e.g.
breastfeeding.

Are there specific topics in which you are interested?  This might
help me (and others) to send you more directly relevant suggestions.
