If you this is your first season coaching an FLL team you are encouraged to signup for the Rookie Coaches Boot Camp this coming Saturday Aug 22. This hands on workshop will give you the basic skills needed to start your first season off on the right foot. Some of the topics covered will be basic and advanced programming and the use of sensors, line following and loops to improve navigation. Tips on how to build with Lego Mindstorms from former members of the VA/DC FLL 2010 and 2014 State Champion teams. Breakout sessions on team management, the research project and how to prepare your team for their regional tournament.
