Early on, I thought it was a great idea to go in and hear and see what was
going on. Now, I never go in to any of the presentations and any other
coach on our team who has worked with the team on a presentation, does not
go in. However, I think it is no big deal if parents who were not involved
go in to take pictures and videos. The videos provide a tremendous amount
of feedback for the team.

Long story longer, if you are a coach, I'd stay outside, if you are a parent
who is interested in seeing what goes on and also taking pictures and/or
videos, I think there is no issue. One last thing, we always coach our
teams that they are on their own in a presentation room and we tell them, if
they look to an adult in the room, it might adversely affect their
presentation. We have had no issues as far as I can tell.

Subject: [VADCFLL-L] Project Presentation Attendance
