We used it last year out of necessity. The app worked fine and the Bluetooth connection was not a problem for us. You will not be able to use the USB connection but our team was able to transfer programs in google drive to the app. The app does not have all the programming capabilities as the computer version but we are only going on our second year so we do not do "fancy" stuff.
